GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Anjeka-6881 is a specialized wetting and dispersing additive formulated for solvent-based, aqueous, and UV-curable inkjet inks. It effectively reduces mill base viscosity and significantly enhances the storage stability of pigment dispersions.

Acid Value: 1 – 15 mg KOH/g

Amine Value: 1 – 20 mg KOH/g

STORAGE & HANDLING

Store in airtight containers.

Always stir well before use. Separation or turbidity may occur below 10°C. If this happens, warm the material to 30–40°C and stir thoroughly until homogeneous.

The recommended maximum shelf life is 12 months.

 

APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Features & Benefits:
Anjeka-6881 is compatible with solvent-borne, waterborne, and UV-curable inkjet ink systems. It effectively stabilizes common inkjet pigments, providing excellent dispersion stability in milled pastes. The additive improves pigment wetting, reduces paste viscosity, and eliminates thixotropy, ensuring long-term storage stability without viscosity drift. Its superior deflocculation capability results in very fine pigment particles with a narrow size distribution, which shortens filtration time during ink production. The strong steric stabilization imparted by Anjeka-6881 enhances final film properties, including color strength, gloss, transparency, and reduced haze.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE
Dosage (as supplied) based on pigment weight:

Organic Pigments: 20% – 60%

Carbon Black: 30% – 100%
Note: These are empirical starting points. The optimum dosage must be determined through practical testing.

 

INCORPORATION & PROCESSING
For optimal performance, incorporate the additive into the mill base before adding the pigments.
