PERFORMANCE
Anjeka 5057 is suitable for unsaturated polyesters, acrylic/vinyl acetate combinations, epoxy resins and oil-free polyesters. The additive also acts as a defoaming and leveling aid. It prevents the formation of foam during the manufacture and application of printing inks. The additive has a fast foaming effect and dose not affect interlayer adhesion.
RECOMMENDED LEVELS
0.1-1.5% The amount of additive (in purchased form) is based on the total formulation.
The above data are empirical and the optimum dosage should be determined through a series of tests.
INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIOS
For optimum performance, the defoamer should be added to the grinding stock prior to grinding. If it is added at a later stage, sufficient shear must be applied to ensure proper dispersion and to avoid surface defects.
